TIP#1 Can I add an email address for the “Showing Agent”? Yes, there is now a field where you can manually enter the showing agent’s email address labeled “Show Asso Email”. TIP#2 Is there a way to attach a link to my listing of a website that I have made to promote it? For those Members that create mini-websites for their individual listings, on Thursday, October 25th, a new field has been added to MLXchange that will assist you in enhancing the marketing of these properties on the Internet. The “Listing Web Address” field will allow Members to add a unique web address to a listing in MLS that’s related to that property which then will be displayed on Broker Reports in MLXchange and our consumer site, RILiving.com. Of note, this link MUST be to a webpage/website that has been developed for a particular property only and NOT directly to an agent/office website, virtual tour of that listing or gallery of available listings. As the link entered in this new field can only be added by MLS, each submitted link will be reviewed by staff before posting. To submit the web address of a property’s site, Members will complete an on-line form much in the way they do today for virtual tour submittal. TIP#3 Now that Transit is requiring a SafeMLS token to login, does this mean I need to have two tokens? No, you can use the same token to login to both MLXchange and Transit. TIP#4 Is there a way to add more information in the “Show Instructions” or “Compensation Comments” fields? The character limit for both of these fields have recently been increased to 62 for the “Compensation Comments” and 200 for the “Show Instructions”
