(Navigate by using the directional arrows on the perimeter of the map to go North, South, East, and West and the "zoom in" and "zoom out" functions beneath the map)

*** Note: once you click on either "zoom in" or "zoom out" you then need to click on the point on the map where you want to zoom in to or zoom out of ***

  2. Beneath the map click on "Draw Circle"

  3. Click one time on the location on the map from which you would like to perform the radius search.

  4. Drag the mouse out to expand the circle and you will notice a fly-out window that will start to compute your radius.

TIP#2

Is there a way to add additional criteria for a hotsheet search other than "Sections", "Property Type", and "Area"?

Yes, you can now add any criteria that you could normally include in any standard property search.

  1. Login to MLXchange
  2. Click on "Hotsheet" from the main menu or along the top of the page
  3. Towards the upper-left side of the application there is a drop-down list labeled "Hotsheet Type". Select "Custom Search" from this list and from there you can enter additional search criteria.

TIP#3

How do I add additional fields to a custom hotsheet?

The Hotsheet module uses your saved search templates to create custom hotsheets. So, to add or remove custom fields to your hotsheet you must have a corresponding saved search template that includes those fields.

To create a search template, add the desired fields to the standard search screen by using the "Add more search criteria" field list, then select "Save Template" from the "Action" menu found in the bottom-left corner of the search screen. Once you’ve named and successfully saved the new search template, this template will be available for use in a custom hotsheet (see Tip #2 >> found under the "Search Template" drop-down menu).

TIP#4

Is there a way to enter multiple addresses when performing a search?

Yes, for each property type (SFM, MFM, CND, etc…) there is a corresponding search labeled "Multi-Address Search".

  1. From the desired property type’s search screen, select the drop-down menu labeled "Search Template" which is located towards the upper right-hand corner and choose "Multi-Address Search".
  2. Within the search template, there will then appear a link entitled "Enter Multiple Addresses"
  3. Select this link and proceed to enter in the desired addresses, clicking on "OK" to submit those addresses and perform your search.

*** Note: you can add the "Enter Multiple Addresses" hyperlink to any of your search templates by going into Template Manager and adding the field "Address Search" to your template. ***

TIP#5

On the Inventory Watch section of the MLXchange home page, what is the difference between "Pending Listings" and "Pending Sales"?

"Pending Listings" are listings with the status of Pending (PN) that you are the listing agent, while "Pending Sales" are listings with the status of Pending (PN) that you are the selling agent.

*** Note: If you have a listing with the status of Pending (PN) that you are both the listing and selling agent, this listing will appear once in each section ***
