Will MLXchange work with the newest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7.0)?

Hotfix 15 will be deployed on February 1, 2007 to correct the following known issues when using the newest Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7.0) with MLXchange:

• IE7: Unable to upload an attachment for a listing and CMA Photo submission issue
• IE7: MLXchange unable to view netsheet reports
• IE7: Error Loading Image in Subject Property

The following issues will not be corrected by Hotfix 15, with no anticipated time for correction:

• Cannot save Designer Tool reports with IE7 (unable to duplicate in a QA environment)
• Cannot print Driving directions for more then 3 properties (not sent to print queue) with IE7.  Microsoft was unable to provide a work-around, but have reproduced the problem and acknowledged that this is a “bad regression from IE 6.0 to IE 7.0” - issue is pending Microsoft review.

State-Wide MLS strongly recommends waiting to install Internet Explorer version 7.0 until after Hotfix 15 has been deployed and staff has time to test the results. Once testing has been successfully completed, MLS will notify its Members that version 7.0 can be used.

TIP#2

When I add “Zoning” to my vacant land search criteria list and enter the value "I" (Industrial-Heavy), why are there no matching results?

The "Zoning" field in MLXchange corresponds to the “ZN” field on the listing input sheet, a free-form, non-required field used to represent the values assigned by the town where the property is located. This field is not associated with the “Zoning” field found in the Features section of the listing sheet. To search by the ”Zoning” Features field, you will need to add the "Prop-Zoning" field to your Vacant Land search screen. Using this field will allow you to search using the input form's “Zoning” features - a required field when entering a listing.
