TIP#1

Will MLXchange work with the newest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7.0)?

The majority of MLXchange modules will function properly within the Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 browser. However, there are two known issues at this time:

  1. The inability to add an image to the subject property in a CMA.
  2. Printing route directions from the Report module "Directions" link.

These two items are currently being addressed by MLXchange developers.  When corrected, State-Wide MLS will send out an updated announcement.

If you decide to install Internet Explorer version 7 and need to use the above-mentioned functions, you will have to uninstall IE 7 or wait until these issues have been corrected.  State-Wide MLS strongly recommends waiting to install IE 7 until these known problems have been repaired.

How long do emailed reports remain active?

When a report is sent electronically from MLXchange, it is sent out as a link within the body of an email. These links will remain active for a period of 60 days from the date sent.

TIP#3

I have no "OK" or "Cancel" button on the bottom of the window when trying to print. Why?

Missing “OK” and “Cancel” buttons usually occurs when your system font is set to "Large". The following instructions will help you correct this problem:

  1. Close all windows so you are back at your desktop;
  2. Right-click on any blank space on your desktop and a menu will appear;
  3. Left click on "Properties" (the last option in the list);
  4. Click on the “Settings” tab in the upper right hand corner of the window;
  5. Select the “Advanced” button in the lower right hand corner (above the “Cancel” button);
  6. While in the “General” tab, the first section listed is titled “Display” - you will see a drop-down list to select the “dpi setting”;
  7. If it is set at anything other than “Normal Size (96 DPI)” change it to “Normal Size”;
  8. Click “Yes” or “OK” to any prompts that follow;
  9. Restart your computer.
