TIP#1

How do I change my password for MlxChange?

You need to change your password in the membership database. The membership database can be accessed at either of the following:

  1. Go to www.statewidemls.com and click on "My Account" in the upper right hand corner right above the mlxchange login icon.
  2. From inside MlxChange click on home in the upper left hand corner and then click on "MLS Resources" on the right hand side and click on "My Account".

Once you are logged into "My Account", proceed with the following:

  1. Click on personal information and scroll down a little ways on the right hand side you will see the option "Change Password".
  2. Enter your new password in twice and hit submit and you should get a confirmation that your password has been changed.
  3. The new password change will take effect in and hour or two. Use your old password until it changes over.

TIP#2

When adding reports to CMA’s, please be aware of the following:

  1. CMA-Recommended Price 2.0 report should be used for a Buyer’s CMA (It will not calculate on a Seller’s CMA)
  2. CMA- Pricing Your Property 2.0 report should be used for a Seller’s CMA (It will not calculate on a Buyer's CMA)

TIP#3

Can I search by "State" in MLXchange?

Yes you can. The "State" field, which is a required field, was added to MLXchange and will allow you to search by State. Currently there are 4 options to select from RI, MA, CT and OT (other). To Search by State in any Property Category:

  1. Add the "State" field from the "Add more search criteria" list
  2. Select the operator "Equals" or "Not Equal"
  3. Select the "State" code(s) to search by The state field can also be added to a grid.

TIP#4

In the photo instruction field, I entered it so MLS would take the photo for the exterior shot and I uploaded the other photos myself leaving the first slot blank for the exterior. MLS never took my exterior photo, why is that?

If the photographer sees that there are any images entered for a listing regardless of what slot they are entered into, he doesn't take the photo. You would need to wait until the exterior shot is there and then add additional photos.
