Joining MLS as a New Subsriber

A “Subscriber” is a non-principal affiliated with an MLS Participant who holds a current, active, valid real estate broker’s or salesperson’s license, or a current, active, valid appraiser’s license or certification.

Note: This process is only for New Agents who have not joined or been reported to us yet by a Local Board of Realtors.

• This form is to be completed by the MLS Participant (Designated Broker) and faxed to MLS 401-941-5320.
• A copy of the Subscriber’s license MUST accompany the Subscriber form to be processed.
• The Subscriber will be activated to the office roster within 48 hours of receiving the authorization form.
• The Subscriber (Agent) will receive an email confirming we’ve received the subscriber authorization form and be given directions on how to obtain their MLS ID number and password.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not receive your MLS ID and password within 48 hours (excluding weekends) of submitting all the required forms, please call Josh at 401-432-6932.

Once a New Agent receives their MLS ID number and Password it is strongly encouraged that all New Agents log onto MLXchange.

• Enter MLS ID and password
• On top of page to the right click the "Help" button
• Click on "Tutorials and Videos" icon. 
• Scroll down to "MLXchange Getting Started" and start with "Add Modify Listings" and view Basics Part 1, 2 and 3.

It is also imperative for all New Agents to review and know MLS Rules & Regs, Penalty Fees & Fines and MLS Policy Notices.
